The trip from Arlington Tx took only about an hour, and the five of us had a GREAT meal with GREAT service. My wife really likes the special italian dish that Nancy makes for her that is one not found on the menu! Nancy's is worth the time to get there. This was our third trip and the first time to bring friends with us. I recommend you make the trip!. Nancy outdid herself again (not our 1st time you see) and we were both very happy with the wine & the meal she served. However, I have to boast (& not just a little bit, but a BUNCH!) - the 'shrimpy' meal was the BEST thing I've ever had: fresh jumbo shrimp, pasta of course, artichoke hearts and other stuff - I'm not a cook - WOW it was great. Nancy is wonderful, friendly, and very pretty. She welcomed me to Mineral Wells and to her restaurant warmly. The food is heaven!! It is always fresh. They have fantastic pizzas and pastas. If you are looking for something simple, I would definitely get a pizza. If you have a more complex taste, I would suggest the Chicken Carchovi. It has chicken and artichokes in a pink sauce over spaghetti. Very tasty!! The staff is great too. I know them all very well because one of them is my big sister. The food and service were wonderful, and Nancy could not have been more gracious. This truely is a five star place run by five star people. The prices are reasonable and the service is fantastic. The only draw back is this restaurant is BYOB (Bring Your Own Beer). So, bring your beer or wine if that is what you choose to drink. Other than that, the place has great soft drinks & tea. My favorite dish....Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. A great appetizer are the Fried Mushrooms! The food is great and fresh and the service is always friendly. The owners are very nice as well as the wait staff! It was brought to our table in a timely matter, was hot, and the portion size was awesome. We didn't think the prices were all that bad either. Nancy personally came to our table and introduced herself to us and when we told her it was our anniversary, she went out of her way to give us a dessert for free... by the way... you must have the cannoli.... OMG it was awesome. We would definitely recommemd this restaurant to anyone that is visiting Mineral Wells. What a blessing that encouragement turned out to be! What an engaging lady! Nancy appears to be just a beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside, and wastes no time in making you feel at home in her surroundings.
